5 Lessons I learned at the Beach

1. Don’t run with your mouth full.
2. Don’t bury your head in the sand.
3. If it itches, scratch it, but be discrete.
4. If danger is approaching, feel free to fly away.
5. Although I might be a little rusty, I can still get the job done.
What lessons did you learn today?
Love the photos! I’ve always got a kick out of watching birds doing their stuff. They don’t seem to care what others’ think, just go about their business.
Lessons learned today? Coffee early in the morning is a requirement for good thought! Nothing new of course.

My lessons for today? When your head hurts and your throat is sore, stay home from work, curl up on the couch with the cats, and visit great blogs like yours. P.S. thanks for the guest post spot. It was fun! If I go somewhere cool again, I’ll let you know.

@ D. Travis North Thank you. It’s not an island, but kind of a sand barge. I took this shot at Malibu Lagoon State Beach. There are actually two such barges; this one and another one which was dominated by pelicans. More on that in an upcoming post.
