		<description>@Diane C.  I lived for over 40 years in the Midwest and East Coast, so I know what a river is suppose to look like.  To me, the Los Angeles River doesn&#039;t look at all like it&#039;s suppose to.</description>

		<description>I remember the Los Angeles River, mostly concrete, but usually with at least a little water flowing.  Then I moved to Tucson, AZ where the &quot;rivers&quot; are dry sandy creek beds called arroyos or washes.
