I cannot tell you how much I miss the ocean. I spent every free moment at my grandparents’ house in San Juan Capistrano and now the closest I am to water is a creek in my back yard.

How I love stories like this! As mom and grandmom, I can relive this one many times over. I can even remember feeling the same exuberance as a child on the Gulf Coast in Florida. Thanks for telling it so well.
