@Freddie, I have no idea what these trees are called,but they thrive in this location. There are several of them in the Palisades Park.

@D. Travis North, You are so right, the pictures don’t do the trees justice. There are several trees that grow like this. I don’t know anything about trees or what kind these are, but they weave themselves into each other in the most interesting patterns. Why am I not surprised you noticed them.

I’m completely in awe over those trees at Santa Monica State Beach. That’s the real reason to get outside – pictures don’t do it justice, I’m sure.

Santa Monica is one of the places I want to visit before I die.
