Celebrating the Holidays at Farmers Market In Boyle Heights
What could be better–celebrating the Holidays or buying local?
Well, the easy answer is both, which is what you’ll find on Friday, December 17th, from 3:30pm until 9:00pm, when the Boyle Heights Farmers Market hosts the Lighting of the Boyle Heights Christmas Tree.
Everyone can also help decorate the large Christmas Tree by painting an ornament, and even getting your picture taken with Santa Claus.
Of course, local vendors will be presenting their wares for your perusal for that someone special.
To be sure, that’s what a farmer’s market is all about. Also, many of the Boyle Heights Farmer Market vendors will have specials especially made just for the holiday season.
And don’t forget to bring your appetite and dancing shoes. Food and music are always part of the festivities.
The Boyle Hill Farmers Market is located at the Mariachi Plaza Metro Station, so for those that don’t have a car or can’t get there without one, you need not worry about attending; Just take Metro!
