Ooo...looks to me like you're heading down the road of Close-Up Photography. You ought to check out Bryan Peterson's book, Understanding Close-Up Photography. Lots of great examples of work along the lines of the shots you've posted here. Great shots though...I love that you're really getting into your groove photographically. D. Let's see ... this weekend I artfully did all the laundry, vacuumed the house from top to bottom, and cleaned the bathrooms. *grin* Okay, wait, at 11 p.m., while I should have been sleeping, I formulated a story, and Sunday morning I wrote it. Now if my creative musings would stop keeping me awake at night! I find that as soon as I put a camera in my hand, I view the world differently. Like you, I see vignettes of art. These images are awesome and inspiring. I could look at them all day, and still find them fascinating. Now I do wish that I had looked a little more carefully at the seashore when I used to go to the beach. But nature's paintings, collages, and sculptures really are everywhere, even in the desert.
