Lisa these photos are absolutely stunning! I’m ashamed to admit that this is not what I traditionally imagined Los Angeles to be like.

Also, this photo scavenger hunt is a great way to encourage the noob photographer such as myself to get out and take some photos

@Lisa Thank you. I might change a couple of these photos, if I find something else I like better. The gentleman with the pigeons was a little different. One day, when I was walking on Venice beach, he was just there, surrounded by pigeons because he was feeding them. It appeared that that was what he did. Because I was taking his picture, and from the look of it, his main income was from the people who took his picture, so I took a step forward to put a dollar in his jar. When I stepped forward, the birds suddenly took off, scaring me to death. I apologized for sending the birds off and the gentleman said, “No problem.” Within a few seconds, the birds were back, eating away.

@Henie I’ve been in CA for a little more than 2 years. I’m lovin’ living here. The idea of shooting with you has also occurred to me. I’m ready when you are. Feel free to email me at lisajnewton at gmail dot com…………….:)

Lisa! Because I am familiar with the culture and areas you photograph, it makes it even more exciting to me seeing it through another special set of eyes (and heart!)
