Shakespeare by the Sea is Coming to a Stage near You
Are you ready to see some Shakespeare? Well, even if you’re not, Shakespeare is almost ready for you. Yes, it’s time for Shakespeare by the Sea. Celebrating its 13th season, this year’s featured plays are Julius Caesar, “a swift and enthralling political thriller where ambition and patriotism go head to head” and Twelfth Night, “set in the make-believe country of Illyria where ‘nothing that is so, is so.’”
With the first performance scheduled to start at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro on Thursday, June 10th, now is the time to mark your calendar. If you don’t live in San Pedro, no problem.
After a four week schedule at Point Fermin Park, Shakespeare by the Sea will go on a six week tour at various locations around Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Depending on the location, you might need to bring beach chairs, blankets, warmer clothing (the nights close to the beach can get a little nippy), and even a picnic dinner.
