The Best of Travelin’ Local’s Year in Review
It’s that time, where we once again are heading toward the end of the old, and toward the new—a cliché; but a cliché that’s true nonetheless.
We’ve culled through our treasure trove of stories, and as our gift for our readers and followers, this year we’re featuring—although many might disagree with our choices—the best of the best of Travelin’ Local’s stories featured by our month by month picks from this year.
As the coming year is closing in upon us, we’ve got many plans in the works; as we’ll be growing in many positive ways.
As we head toward the new—figuratively, metaphorically, and literally–let’s share the memories.
To be honest—for all of the various stories we covered each month–it was very difficult, if not almost impossible, for me to choose which story I thought was the best for that month. It’s very much like trying to choose which one of your children you love the most. Nonetheless, I eventually chose those stories that not only I found to be the better post; but with a sense of pride, I reached back to remember which stories also carried its gravitas in terms of its boldness, impact, and readership feedback.
Of course, in the process, the “competition” became tough, as there are quite a few stories where I feel there was no “best” one. But as in any process, decisions must be made, and I hope that you enjoy todays’ compilation of the Best of Travelin’ Local’s Year in Review, as much as I enjoyed sharing it.
In that, I’ll let Travelin’ Local readers enjoy my picks, as we continue our Travelin’ Local journey together, finding new places to go, things to do, and continue to bring you the best that Los Angeles and Southern California have to offer.
